Haiti - Politic : The Youth Observatory wants the MJSAC remains

The Observatory of Haitian Youth (OJH) and allied associations from 10 departments decided again to fix its position on the ongoing transition, particularly around the composition of the next transitional government.

While welcoming the decision of the President a.i. to reduce the number of ministries from 20 to fifteen, the OJH request to the Head of State to stop "exclude youth of State Affairs and to consider their commitment and involvement efforts."

In anticipation of the formation of the next government the OJH and its allies, recommend "to maintain the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) and the Secretariat of State for Youth and Civic Action, the few achievements of this social category, which is the majority youth but marginalized.

So, us members of the OJH and of youth movements allies ask the key players to choose as Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action youth under 35 years, dynamic, honest, competent, known in the area, with several years of experience in public administration, involved in the field of civic action and interest in sports matters by consensus between youth structures [...]" OJH says to be ready to contribute to the choice of this personality called to defend the sector of Haitian youth and warns that youth movements of country will contest any choice that do not meet the proposed profile.
