Friday at the National Palace, after the meeting between President a.i. Jocelerme Privert and the Executive Board of Fanmi Lavalas, Maryse Narcisse, Coordinator of Fanmi Lavalas and former candidate for the presidency of Haiti, declared "[...] Fanmi Lavalas keeps the same position in relation to the independent Audit Commission, which is required to make the truth about what happened in the elections of 9 August and 25 October 2015 and at the same time assess the whole electoral process. These are the conclusions and recommendations of the report of this Commission which will enable us to move forward with the rest of the electoral process [...]"

Adding about the participation of Fanmi Lavalas in the consensus government "[...] We came to listen first and on the issue of Consensus Government we will return to our organization to bring the matter to the attention of our members [...] we are in consultation with groups and parliamentarians and we will give timely the position of Fanmi Lavalas [...] but what we always say and I repeat it, anmi Lavalas is not in power, Fanmi Lavalas help deliver this power [...]"
