Haiti - Culture : Ciné Théâtre Triomphe, denial of the Minister Raton

In a note, Dithny Joan Raton, the Minister of Culture considers it useful to bring to the attention of the general public and the cultural sector in particular, that the Ministry never signed partnership agreement with the "Haitian American Association of Filmmakers" or with any other entity to operate the Ciné Théâtre Triomphe, as wants us to believe rumors...

"The Ministry of Culture is aware of the importance of Ciné Théâtre Triomphe for all those who devote their talents to the 7th art and which are involved in this great collective adventure that is cinema. In this regard, the Ministry reminded the Haitian cultural world, that it is in talks with Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), owner of the building, in order to establish together a rational method and efficient for the management of this space dedicated to the promotion of Haitian culture in all its forms and manifestations.

The Ministry of Culture welcomes all movie producers and the many moviegoers of the country and reiterates here its great respect and its unwavering commitment to the cultural sector and the 7th art."
