Haiti - Football : Copa America Centenario, the Grenadiers gather

As part of the play-off matches of the Copa America Centenario in anticipation of the match of January 8 against Trinidad and Tobago, the National selection, the Grenadiers, gathers in Florida (USA).

Sunday, after two weeks of intense training under the authority of Wilner Etienne, National Technical Director, 9 Grenadiers (Steward Ceus (Atlanta Silverbacks, USA), Luis Valendi Odelus (Aigle Noir, Haiti), Sébastien Thuriere (Charleston Battery, USA), Meschak Jérôme (Jacksonville Armada, USA), Sony Norde (Mumbai FC, India), Pascal Milien (Armada FC, USA), Jean Marc Alexandre (Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia), Wedson Anselme (Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi - Bangladesh) and Kervins Fils Belfort (Trabzon 1461, Turkey) have left Port-au-Prince for Florida. On site they were joined by Judlin Avesca (Ind. Argentina), Max Hilaire (FC Cholet, France), Kevin Lafrance (FK Viktoria Zizkov/Rep. Czech), Frantz Bertin (Indian League ISL) and Jean Eudes Maurice (PSG/France), to compose a group of 14 players who are housed to the IMG Accademy.

This Monday, December 28 the group will see the arrival of Sony Mustivar (Sporting Kansas City, USA), Monumat Constant Jean Jr (Don Bosco, Haiti), Junior Delva (Don Bosco, Haiti), Woodensky M. Cherenfant, Jaafson Origène (Don Bosco), Alex Christian Junior (FC Boavista, Portugal). Tuesday, Stéphane Lambèse (Paris Saint-Germain) then Kim Jaggy (FC Aarau) and Duckens Nazon (Stade Lavallois Mayenne) on January 5, 2016.

For Jean Jacques Pierre (Paris FC, France) and Johnny Placide (stade de Reims France) nothing is defined yet, one always try to convince their respective clubs and pending the arrival of the new coach, Patrice Neveu , in Florida https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-16114-haiti-football-patrice-neveu-new-national-coach.html , Wilner Etienne continues the preparation of the group with a rendezvous on the field this Monday at 3:00 pm.
