According to our information, former Adviser to the President Martelly, Joseph Lambert, defeated candidate in the last elections of 25 October, was appointed by the Government Martelly-Paul, Minister Counsellor at the embassy of Haiti in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He would have been installed in office last Wednesday and is also responsible for the Consulate of Haiti in Santiago (RD).

On the other hand, his brother Wencesclas Lambert, also defeated in the last elections, would have joined the diplomatic mission to the Bahamas and would be in charge of the Consulate of Haiti to the Turks & Caicos Islands.
