The Ministry of National Education, reminded the public in general and the candidates of philo who failed the exams, that the 1st session of the permanent bac will be held, as planned in the school calendar of the academic year 2015-2016, from December 14 to 17, 2015.

8,088 philo candidates that failed including 3,417 from the West must participate in these exams across the country, according to figures provided by the BUNEXE. Renan Michel, Head of the National Office of the State Examinations (BUNEXE) and Joseph Job Maurice, the Director of Secondary Education (DES) confirmed at a press conference Friday that all measures have been taken for the success of these exams with the support of the Regional Directorates of Education (DDE), in charge of field operations. The entire process is under control with all desired quality level stating that the candidates will be in 36 exams centers and will undergo the exams in 334 classrooms under the supervision of 40 officials of examinations, 86 supervisors and 668 overseers.

The usual guidelines will be strictly enforced during such examinations, particularly with regard to respect timetables, banning mobile phones and programmable calculators in the exam centers.

Calendar of exams :

Monday, December 14: Philosophy in the morning and Biology in the afternoon;

Tuesday 15: Social Sciences and Chemistry;

Wednesday 16: Mathematics and English;

Thursday 17: Physics and Spanish (Philo C only).

According to the provisions adopted, the results of these examinations will be announced by the end of December 2015.
