On Thursday, the Lycée Alexandre Dumas (LAD) of Port-au-Prince has signed an educational cooperation agreement with 16 partner educational establishments located inter alia : to Port-au-Prince, Cap Haïtien, Jacmel, Cavaillon and to the Gonaïves...

The signing of this agreement took place at the Residence of France in the presence of Elizabeth Béton Delègue, Ambassador of France accredited to Port-au-Prince, of the Principal of the LAD, members of the association of parents of students of the LAD and directors of each educational establishment.

Each institution signatory will be able to choose to cooperate with the Lycée Alexandre Dumas in some or all of the four areas of application under the agreement :

1 - Organization of French exams;

2 - Teacher training;

3 - Organisation of joint educational projects;

4 - Knowledge of the Haitian education system.

The objective of this agreement is intended to improve teacher training, streamline exchange of training practices and create a network of educational and cultural institutions in the country, whose the French Institute of Haiti and the French Alliances are an integral part.

New establishments will soon be asked to sign the agreement to expand the network.
