The G8, grouping of 8 presidential candidates, representing 49.81% of the popular vote in the elections of October 25, composed of : Sauveur Pierre Étienne 1.95% "Oganizasyon Pep kap Lite" (OPL), Moïse Jean-Charles 14.27% "Pitit Dessalin", Jude Célestin 25.27% "Ligue Alternative pour le Progrès et l'Émancipation Haitienne" (LAPEH), Jean-Henry Céant 2.50% "Renmen Ayiti", Steven I. Benoit 1.14% "Konviksyon", Charles Henry Baker 0/18% "Respe", Éric Jean-Baptiste, 3.63% Mouvement Action Socialiste (MAS) and Samuel Madistin 0.88%, "Mouvement Patriotique Populaire Dessalinien" (MOPOD), in a joint note dated October 6, "notes the publication by the CEP, of the election results regardless the request for the formation of an independent investigation commission in charge of purifying the vote of the numerous cases of fraud and ballot stuffing denounced." https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15665-haiti-elections-8-candidates-call-for-the-creation-of-an-independent-commission.html

Furthermore the G8 denounces that "the results as published, are likely to devote the undemocratic principle according to which 'those who vote decide nothing' The publication of these results is reminiscent of the period of official election of dictatorial regimes organized under the leadership of the Ministry of the Interior and threatens the country's stability. This is a dangerous return to the past, a huge back in the past likely to undermine the foundations of the state and plunge the country into anarchy and chaos."

For these 8 candidates the "as published results are unacceptable," reiterating their willingness "to do everything within the framework of the rights enshrined in the constitution, to enforce the people's will, we invite the CEP to establish the independent commission of inquiry requested in the press release of 3 November in order to give credibility to the process before it is too late."
