While our compatriots waited, sometimes day and night, sometimes struggled to register at the National Plan of Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE) in irregular migratory situation in the Dominican Republic, today thousands of documents of regularization are awaiting that beneficiaries pick them in vain...

The Ministry of Interior and Police (MIP) of the Dominican Republic announced that delivery of the legalization of documents in the 25 offices of "gobernaciones" provincial will end on November 30 and that foreigners who do not withdraw this document before that date, will have to go to the Central office located in the "Edificio de Oficinas Gubernamentales Juan Pablo Duarte" (Huacal), in the National District.

The MIP urges foreigners who joined the PNRE, to come in offices where they filed their solicitude personally, to remove their card or sticker which give them their temporary immigration status, noting that the delivery is in its final phase.

Note that the 25 provincial offices are open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.

The MIP recalls that those who are registered with a passport, must come with the original of this document so that the regulation sticker be affixed. The delivery is made personally in the offices of regularization where of foreigners have deposited their solicitude.
