At a press conference, two days after the election of 25 October, at his headquarters in Delmas 65, Steven Benoît, presidential candidate under the banner of the platform "Konviksion" denounced scandalized, to be the victim of a organized fraud within the Executive Board of his platform.

"I have received nothing concerning the funding allocated to presidential candidates [...] The entire subsidy, or 1.9 million gourdes, allocated to political parties was guarded by Nixon Bataillon, Berthony Bellegarde and Hans Tipeenhauer, all three members of the platform."

Consequently, Steven Benoît says he is in no way liable for the use of this subsidy...
