In a note, Me Pierre-Richard Casimir, the Minister of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) "thanks the different actors that contributed to the success of the election day on Sunday, October 25, including the High General Staff of the PNH, judicial actors and all police officers who have demonstrated unwavering professionalism, on election day."

The Minister Casimir also welcomes "political parties, candidates and voters who, through their behavior, contributed to the election success.

As for the Haitian people, he gave the whole World, an example of democracy, fair play and tolerance."

The Minister believes it is important "to ask all stakeholders to continue to work to maintain the same behavior during the rest of the electoral process."

While inviting everyone to remain calm, the Minister reminded in conclusion that "the electoral institution is the only instance called to publish the results of the election of October 25."
