Vote of the Diaspora

Regarding the vote of the diaspora, Prime Minister Paul Evans said on Sunday "It must be a commitment of the State to ensure that our compatriots abroad can vote. We have the will. Before I left the Primature, I will initiate this advocacy in favor of vote of teh diaspora in the next election..."

Improvement of the participation rates

Élena Valenciano, he Head of the EU Observation Mission for Haiti (Haiti MOE), highlighted an improvement in the organization and participation rates that were recorded in Sunday's elections "Representatives of political parties , observers and voters themselves have demonstrated greater awareness of the need for clean and peaceful elections [...]"

NOTICE : CEP Clarification

"Given the destruction of sensitive equipment intended to 4 voting centers located on the 5th section of Champagne and 6th section of Molas (Petit Bourg de Borgne), which are : the Catholic Church Marie Chandeleur, the National School of Champagne, the Community School of Bas Molas and the École Sainte Marie Chicano, voters that had to vote in these so-called voting centers have not been able to do because of the difficulties for the helicopter to deliver the electoral materials.

By cons, voting was normal in the remaining 11 voting centers for the constituency of Borgne, representing approximately 89% of the electorate. The statement that concerns only the 4 aforementioned voting centers, is canceled and reported."
