Monday, at an Extraordinary General Meeting of members of the Multisectoral Coordination Committee of the Global Fund projects in Haiti (CCM-Haiti), at the headquarters of the institution in Delmas 83, the First Lady Sophia Martelly, has completed her term as President.

Elected November 25, 2011 at the head of the CCM https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-4350-haiti-health-sophia-martelly-new-president-of-ccm.html , Ms. Martelly presided the office in a difficult environment of reform and monitoring of records relating to the extension of grants allocated to Haiti.

Obeying the internal regulations governing the CCM, the First Lady praised at the time of his departure, the contribution of all members of the Assembly who have contributed to the success of the mandate entrusted to her and took the opportunity to ensure of its unwavering support "I was thrilled to put myself at the service of my country through the CCM and I feel I have given the best of myself in those years. I greet all the technical and financial partners, local and international, which have contributed to the CCM. The CCM Haiti will continue to fulfill its mission of coordination and supervision of projects for the benefit of direct beneficiaries and the country."

For their part, members of the Assembly did not fail to emphasize the dynamism and constant efforts she has made to ensure sound, transparent and efficient management of funds allocated to Haiti as part of the Prevention and treatment of the three diseases, AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Edner Boucicaut, unanimously electedwill replace at the Presidency Sophia Martely for a period of 3 years along with the First Vice-President Malia Jean (sector of people living with HIV) and Hunndine Delmas, representing local associations.

Note that after this Assembly, the Committee have requested of the First Lady she becomes President of Honor of the CCM Haiti.
