Following the creation of the new commune of Arcadins https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14858-haiti-politic-5-new-communes-in-haiti.html , the President Michel Martelly, very concerned about the recent events in Arcahaie, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15037-haiti-social-arcahaie-is-rebelling.html decided to initiate a series of consultations with local residents of the City of the Flag and Montrouis, to find a lasting solution.

In order to facilitate the smooth progress of these talks, the Head of State asked the archeloise population to remain calm and not give in to provocations and manipulations. He believes that only serious and serene discussions, will allow to find a happy and speedy end to this situation.
