Following the visit last Tuesday, of construction sites of the Hotel Royal Decameron - Indigo Beach Resort and Spa, on the Côte des Arcadins https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15014-haiti-tourism-hotel-indigo-royal-decameron-beach-resort-will-open-in-2-months.html Stéphanie Balmir villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, held a meeting with leaders of the future Decameron-Haiti.

At the meeting, officials of the Decameron-Haiti promised in addition to the hotel, a multidimensional development for the inhabitants of the area, together with the Ministry of Tourism.

Was discussed in particular :

• To develop the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the region ;

• To create a creative village, to allow exchanges between visitors from the hotel and residents ;

• To work in cleaning up the area ;

• The creation of lodgings near the hotel ;

Other measures relating to road safety, including the replacement of signage panels in the area where the hotel is located, were also discussed.

It was also agreed that students graduate of the Hotel School of Haiti (EHH) will benefit from an internship at Decameron-Haiti, and even have the chance to have thee their first job.
