The construction work of the 3-floors building, to house the future headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications, funded by the European Union to the tune of 4,1 million Euros (4,168.413 euros), making great strides to two months of the due date.

Charles Jean Jacques, the national authorizing officer of the European Development Fund (EDF), along with Haitians and foreign technicians working on the site went to the construction site ocated at Delmas 33 to inquire about the state of advancement of this infrastructure. Accompanied by Édouard Excellent, Coordinator and Emmanuel Fexile, Technical Advisor, the ational Authorising Officer has traveled the three floors of the building and received explanations and answers to his questions. After his visit he requested the benefit of emergency so that deadlines are met.

For the engineer Vincenzo Candido, Head of Mission of the firm R.I. S.P.A on this construction site "the next steps are: electrification, plumbing, laying ceramic and air conditioning. Then will come the installation of doors and windows and finishing the roof." Objectives according to him, attainable in accordance with the schedule.

Ms Martine Desruisseaux, the project architect, appears also confident but cautious, saying "There is reason to hope, that everything will proceed as planned."

Remember that this work started in July 2014 should be completed in late October 2015 (despite 3 months delay)
