Erika to Carifesta and spoil the feast

All events of Carifesta XII of Friday evening were canceled due to thealarming weather conditions of tropical storm Erika. "The Jubilee of the Queen, ball of peasants" grandiose spectacle planned in Milot Friday night on the Sans Souci Palace site https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14962-haiti-culture-some-news-of-carifesta-xii.html (and not Thursday as announced in the program) has also been canceled. The announcement of the cancellations was made Friday by the organizing committee of CARIFESTA XII before the passage of the storm Erika.

Gospel Night

This Saturday, August 29 at the Sports Centre Carrefour from 19:00 to 22:00 Groups who came from Barbados and Antigua amongst others Brandi Browne and Duwayne Hinds) will be at the Carifesta Gospel Night in addition to the Gospel Vision Haiti.

Agro-craft fair of Jacmel

On the sidelines of the great festivities of Carifesta XII, Jacmel proposes a basketry workshop for young people interested in crafts,on the tourist port where stands the famous agro-craft fair which ends this Saturday.

Carifesta and copyrights

The Haitian Bureau of Copyright (BHDA) reminds everyone, that works and artistic performances presented in the various manifestations of the twelfth edition Carifiesta are protected and inform all users that the unauthorized public or commercial exploitation remain prohibited.

The BHDA relies on the cooperation of all and appeals to the responsibility of everyone to act in strict compliance with Articles 35, 39, 40, 42, 53 and 54 of the Decree of 12 October 2005 on copyright and rights neighbors.
