In a press release Pierre-Louis Opont, the President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), deploring the incidents that disrupted the electoral day of August 9, 2015, warns the legal representatives of these political parties and political groupings, that in case of recidivism of their members, supporters or candidates under their banner, they risk exclusion from the electoral race in the constituency where the act was committed, under article 119, paragraph (c) of the Electoral Decree of 2 March 2015, which states "In cases of flagrante delicto and recurrence, the Provisional Electoral Council take all measures in accordance with this Decree, for the purposes of [...] c) suspension of all electoral contests for a period of up to five (5) years, the parties or political groupings found guilty."

"Members, supporters and candidates claiming to belong those political organizations committed abuses, on election day, compromising its smooth running, in the following departments :

Artibonite : AAA, Bouclier, KID, PHTK, REPARENN

Centre : APLAH, KID, LAPEH, PHTK, RENMEN AYITI

Grand'Anse : Bouclier, KOREGA (Société civile)

North : Bouclier, Kontra Pep La, LAPEH, PHTK, Pitit Dessalines, PONT, PPN, Vérité

West : APLAH, Bouclier, PHTK, Respè

North West : PHTK, PONT, Respè

South : Fusion, KID, PHTK, Vérité

South East : ADRENA

The Council appeals to the patriotic spirit of those responsible for political parties and groups, in order to bring their candidates and supporters to respect scrupulously the provisions of the Electoral Decree."

Should be noted that in the statement of the CEP is not mentioned (for some reason) FANMI LAVALAS, whose the candidate for deputy Dorelien Fantal (Mirebalais, Centre), has however been excluded from the electoral race, for "Burst into the Mirebalais Parquet and breaking of materials..."
