Several thousand people took part Wednesday on the public place of Croix-des-Bouquets (north of the capital) to the launching of the 2nd phase of the presidential campaign for the candidate of the platform INITE. Candidate backed by outgoing President Rene Preval.

Contrary to the other candidates who enter in campaign for searching the electorate, Jude Célestin announced "quite simply" that he is the winner and self-proclaimed, without complex, President! "We already won. Let us not fall into the trap of provocation" appealing to non-violence to his followers and supporters so they do not fall into the traps of the opposition.
