Friday, in memory of the legend Lénord Fortuné aka "Azor", singer and drummer of Racine Mapou de Azor group, who left us there soon 4 years, on the night from July 16 to 17, 2011, at the Hospital Bernard Mevs while returning the festivities of Mount Carmel in Saut d'Eau https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-3398-haiti-culture-tribute-of-martelly-to-azor.html , the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) officially launched the festival "Men Azor" to be held on the Côte-des-Arcadins (Public beach of Haiti), on 18 and 19 July.

In his speech, Jean Sony Zulérion, the Director of the Public beach of Haiti, specified that talks are underway with members of the family of the singer, for organizing this Festival which will include presentation of works and personal belongings of former drummer. Boat races and of "bwafouye" are also on the program of this festival where several bands will provide entertainment during these two days, including among others : "Rasin Mapou" , "Koral-la de Sò Anne", "Raram no limit" and "Rasin Kanga".
