The American Chamber of Commerce in Haiti (AmCham-Haiti) is organizing the first Fair of Construction in Haiti, "Matcon Haiti 2015", an event which will run for three days, during which participants and speakers will discuss on the construction sector.

Objectives of Matcon Haiti 2015 :

• Promote the construction sector in Haiti so that it can become a competitive sector while Haiti is in a rebuilding process ;

• Bring together the different construction sector players to discuss, learn and share best practices that exist in the area ;

• Facilitate the development of new construction projects for growth in sales and of real estate market ;

• Create an opportunity for Haitian construction firms, engineers and manufacturers can meet other entrepreneurs and other businesses in the Americas ;

• Multiply the new construction projects for the development of sales and property market ;

• Give financial institutions and those of insurance a chance to test a new commercial area ;

• Enable local companies to meet potential buyers and also exploring innovations outside their sectors ;

• Supporting construction companies in their efforts to regulate the construction industry and to encourage industry growth.

Networking is a major asset of MATCON, which will provide rooms for private meetings for B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Consumer), but also for recruitment opportunities.
