Last week, Paul André and officers of the National Association of Boards of Directors of communal sections (Conseils d’Administration des Sections Communales CASEC), had clearly expressed their support to the platform INITE, saying in the aftermath, the political allegiance of all boards of directors of communal sections (Administration des Sections Communales ASEC) to the presidential candidate Jude Celestin (INITE).

Speaking at a press conference, Castro Pierre and Romain Augustin, the two leaders of a group of local elected, members of ASEC and CASEC, were keen to do an update, and have vigorously denied the assertion of Paul André, adding that the Federation had received no mandate or mission of its members to negotiate a political deal with any presidential candidate. Adding that the members will give an opinion soon in favor of a candidate, without giving further details.
