Haiti - FLASH : Arrest of a gang leader

Tuesday around 10 am, on the street of Roulottes, in the neighborhood of la Hatte, the Police of Petit-Goâve apprehended, the gang leader Pierre-Daniel Milord aka "Ti bonhomme", escaped from prison since 2010 and actively sought by the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

According to Justice of the Peace, Me Jean Jude Leandre, Pierre-Daniel Milord was arrested for possession of illegal weapons and usurpation of titles. During the finding, police and judicial authorities have found in possession of "Ti Bonhomme" including: a homemade gun (Chilean) and a cartridge, a 9 mm pistol, a charger, a badge of the National Police of Haiti in the name of Daniel Pierre Milord, agent 4, badges of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities as a delegate and as Chargé de Mission.

Pierre-Daniel Milord is currently incarcerated at the police station of Petit-Goâve. The population welcomed this arrest and congratulated the police for the capture of this dangerous individual, suspected of numerous criminal offenses in the area.
