Haiti - Health : The Ministry of Public Health in Cuba
On Monday, Dr. Florence Duperval Guillaume, Minister of Public Health and Population at the head of a Haitian delegation, composed of Dr. Nancy Charles Larco, r. Alfred Patrick and Dr. Palau Brunache, will participate at Forum "Cuba Salud 2015" to be held at the Palace of Conventions in Havana (Cuba) from 20 to 24 April.
At this important forum, we will discussed the current and future challenges of public health in the world. The Haitian delegation will have the opportunity to interact with high-level participants on topics of interest to the people of Haiti.
Given the important role played by the Cuban medical staff in Haiti, the Minister of Health has already visited Cuba several times during his tenure, to talk with his Cuban counterpart Roberto Morales Ojeda and other officials of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health.
