Haiti - Education : Official colors of the single school uniform (2015-2016)
Friday, following the Presidential Decree of 18 March, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13434-haiti-notice-single-uniform-for-students-in-public-schools.html , stipulating that public school students, both fundamental as secondary, now will wear the same uniform, Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education, during a press conference in the presence of several high school students and directors unveiled the official colors chosen for the single uniform for the academic year 2015-2016.
At the secondary level: shirt or blouse blue sky over navy blue pants or skirt.
At the fundamental level: shirt or blouse with blue and white tiles on navy blue pants or skirt.
The Minister Manigat specified that this color choice was the result of consensus after a broad participatory process with the directors and students.
