Haiti - Politic : Wishes of Prime Minister Evans Paul

On the occasion of Lent, Prime Minister Paul Evans in a statement formulates his wishes to participants, organizers, members and founders of Rara groups.

"Rara is one of the biggest cultural events, musical, typical of our country, which is celebrated throughout the country. It is an integral part of our national identity, our history, our intangible heritage and is also an expression of our people's soul and the bearer of a social and religious charge.

The Prime Minister invites everyone to celebrate in peace and serenity and calls for the spirit of tolerance, togetherness and respect for republican principles.

The Head of Government reminded Rara bands, the obligation imposed on them not to obstruct traffic on national roads and asked drivers to be cautious on the road. He strongly urged the National Police to accompany Rara groups to ensure everyone's safety and ensure public order.

Prime Minister Evans Paul also took the opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Easter Holidays."
