In accordance with Article 102 of the Electoral Decree of 2 March 2015 and in the framework of the implementation of the electoral timetable, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), publishes the list of political parties and groups properly registered entitled to participate in the upcoming elections.

The Electoral Council, specifies in a note signed by Pierre-Louis Opont, President, Pierre Manigat Jr., Vice-president ; Vijonet Demero, Secretary General ; Richardo Augustin, Treasurer and members Yolette Mengual, Marie Carmel Paul Austin, Néhémy Joseph, Lourdes Edith Joseph and Jaccéus Joseph, that 105 political parties and groups have a record in conformity with the provisions of the Electoral Decree in its Articles 100 and following. The CEP also says that the political parties and groups non-approved have until Friday, March 27, 2015 at 4:00 pm to produce any claims to the Directorate of Legal Affairs, located at #133, road of Frères.

This list of political parties and groups approved and non-approved was sent to political parties, the press and is available at the headquarters of the CEP in Petion-ville and to the Electoral Operations Department on the road of Frères.

Note that Article 103 of the Electoral Decree stipulates "To be registered, political parties and groups must submit to the Provisional Electoral Council, against receipt, a certified copy of the following :

a) The notarial deed of political party or group, its statutes and objectives;

b) The act of recognition of the political party;

c) The act of recognition of each of the parties forming the grouping of political parties;

d) The list of parties and organizations signatories to the agreement of the political group;"

An incomplete application may cause the non-accreditation of a party.

Note that the members of a political platform will not be able to present candidates under their own banner, but only under the banner of the platform to which they belong for example, the "Rally of National Progressive Democrats" (RDNP) of Mirlande Manigat, a member of the platform of the opposition "Patriotic Movement for Democratic Opposition" (MOPOD) [Note: renamed People's Patriotic Movement Dessalinien], will have to present its candidate under the banner of MOPOD.
