Haiti - Petit-Goâve : Police evacuated the wage-earners of the Notre-Dame Hospital

Thursday, Nikès Poisson, Administrator of the Notre-Dame Hospital of Petit-Goâve had to call the police and a Justice of Peace of the city, Me Winny Fred Noelsaint, to compel forty wage-earners protesters, paralyzing the hospital since last Sunday by blocking water and the outpatient clinic of the hospital, to leave the Hospital, in order to resume normal health services offered to the population.

These employees require the State the payment of several months of salary arrears, however, according to reports, most of these employees were paid and then dismissed from October 31, 2014.

According to the legal record drawn up by Justice of the Peace, Me winny Fred Noelsaint "The 40 salaried employees are not allowed to enter the interior of the Notre-Dame Hospital."
