Haiti - FLASH : The President of the Republic convenes the people to elections
The General Secretariat of of the Presidency informs the public that, by order dated March 13, 2015, the Haitian people is convened to elections the Sunday, August 9, 2015 for the first round of legislative elections, the Sunday, October 25, 2015 for the first round of the presidential elections, the local elections and the second round of legislative elections, and, if necessary, Sunday, December 27, 2015 for the second round of the presidential election.
In addition, by order dated March 13, 2015, the current electoral constituency of Cerca La Source is divided into two separate electoral constituencies : the constituency of Cerca la Source and the constituency of Thomassique. The President of the Republic, while reiterating the strong determination of the Executive to facilitate the holding of free, credible, independent, transparent and inclusive elections, take this opportunity to invite all citizens of voting age and holders of their National Identification Card https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13298-haiti-elections-a-decree-extends-the-validity-of-cin-expiring.html to fulfill their civic duty and at the same time contribute to the strengthening of democracy and the rule of law.
