Friday at a press conference at the Primature Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industry provided an update on projects and activities in the tourism sector at this beginning of year.

In terms of promotion she said that 14 tour operators are selling Haiti as a destination in their packages. She also mentioned that two loans of $1 million (to the BNC and BPH) are available for the associations of taxi drivers.

Furthermore she revealed that, with the adoption of the new amending budget (2014-2015) 14 new tourism projects will be launched in the country, especially in Seguin, Ti mouillage, saut du Baril, Port des Cayes, waterfront of Dame Marie, La Pointe in Jérémie, National Historic Park, etc…
