Tuesday at the Primature, the Prime Minister, Evans Paul met with 23 young members of the Government Youth of Haiti(GJH). He praised the initiative, which he says is a sign that the Haitian youth wants to be more involved in the process of rebuilding Haiti, "You are the future of the country and my government will continue to support youth. I trust in you and the government I lead will not leave you alone."

Moreover, Evans Paul believes that an internship in ministries, would be good for these young people to discover how perates the various ministries "Ministers of my government should be willing to support and give you all the information on the functioning of the ministries of the country [...] I want to combine them to the different actions of the Government Youth of Haiti in order to get a better idea of the real needs of Haitian youth."

The Prime Minister wishes for these young people that will be "at the helm of affairs in the coming years," the establishment in the coming months, of several youth fairs across the country and the involvement of youth of GJH in various projects of his government.

Following this meeting, the Association of Volunteers for Democracy (AVD) (the structure that caps the GJH), presented to Prime Minister Paul, an honor plaque designating him as "Guardian of youth".
