Haiti - Agriculture : The student protests continues to Damien

The student movement of the Faculty of Agriculture, initiated on 22 January continues, paralyzing for the past 15 days, the activities both at the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV), that at the Ministry of Agriculture to Damien, where students Wednesday, have once again blocked the National road #1. to demand the resignation of former Minister of Environment Jean François Thomas, became the new Minister of Agriculture, and the appointments of Fednel Monchery, Secretary of State for Agrarian Reform and Pierre André Gedon, Secretary of State for Agricultural Recovery.

They consider that these 3 people, that they have also declared "personae non grata" at the Ministry of Damien, do not have the skills required to carry out the agricultural policy of Haiti.

Highly motivated students do not intend to end their protest, as long as they will not have satisfaction of their claims.
