Wednesday, Me Anthony Milord also a teacher by profession, was arrested in the exercise of his duties in the office and in the presence of the Dean of First Instance of Petit-Goâve, Me Emmanuel Tataille on order of the investigating judge, Me Legène Leccius.

According to some informations, Me Anthony Milord was reportedly arrested by mistake, in the place of his brother, Mirtho Milord, who is also his client, suspected of being part of a group of people who torched the home of Madame Anaise that filed a complaint against Noel Plaisir, Jean Derino and Mirtho Milord .

However, the judge Legène Leccius affirm, according to other sources, he would have arrested Me Milord Anthony because of threats. A charge categorically rejected by the lawyers of the bar, who accuse the magistrate of corruption.

Finally, Me Amthony Milord was released shortly afterwards, under pressure from students and all lawyers of Petit-Goâve bar which, in a resolution adopted unanimously at a extraordinary assembly, demanded as a sign of protest, the departure of judge Leccius "While waiting for the judge leaves the jurisdiction of Petit-Goâve, no lawyer of the bar will present in his office," says the corporation of lawyers in its resolution.
