Haiti - Culture : Preview showing of movie «Traversée des mondes de Frankétienne»

This Thursday, January 22 at 5:00 m., at the Karibe Convention Center, will take place the projection in preview showing of the movie "Traversée des mondes de Frankétienne" of the director Arnold Antonin. A presentation of the Centre Pétion-Bolivar, Knowledge and Freedom Foundation (FOKAL), the French Institute of Haiti (IFH) and Lucienne Deschamps Foundation.

Zombies and Guédés are the most important and the most confusing of the Haitian imagination and specifically that of Frankétienne. This movie is a journey through the worlds of Frankétienne which leads us into the mysteries of poetic creation, literary, dramatic and plastic. Frankétienne appears on it as a top poet, musician and actor, Nobel hunter and director of his own death.

This film was produced with the lighting of Marie-Andrée Étienne, Stéphane Étienne, Carole Volcy Céant, Lyonnel Trouillot, Dany Laferrière, Paula Péan, Rodney St-Eloi, Kettly Mars, Jean-Claude Fignolé, Ricardo Lefèvre, Marie-Alice Théart, Mireille Jérôme and Rudolph Étienne.
