From Friday 12 to Sunday, December 14, 2014, the Association Of Peasants of Vallue (VPA) is organizing the 6th edition of the Fair of the mountain of Vallue (12th communal section of the town of Petit Goâve), taking place this year on the theme "Revaluation of our food, basic of the identity gastronomy of the peasantry and as a food security strategy resilient to climate change."

Many activities are planned during the 3 days including: inauguration of the work done, exhibition of agricultural products, crafts, food and environmental tour of the plant museum of Zamor, panel discussion on "the revaluation of food in a approach to sovereignty and of food and nutrition security", cultural events, mountain restaurant, evening dance and visit of the community.

The population of Petit Goâve and visitors from other departments and outside are invited to participate in large numbers to make this 6th edition of the Fair of the mountain a success.
