On Tuesday, Cardinal Sarah will meet the local Caritas, its officers and staff engaged in field operations, as well as other Catholic humanitarian agencies active in Haiti.

Wednesday in Léogâne he will inaugurate the school Our Lady of the Angels, built with the help of the Holy Father and entrusted to the "Compagnie de Jésus".

He will also meet the country's authorities and especially President Martelly.

On Friday, the Cardinal will meet with Haitian bishops, clergy and religious who take part in the actual reconstruction but also mental and spiritual.

It is the last trip of the prelate before taking office as Prefect for the Congregation for Divine Worship.

Meanwhile, the Pope will organize on January 10 at the Vatican a conference on Haiti to not forget it, to reaffirm the commitment of the Church at the service of this country and relaunch the international interest in its reconstruction. It will be organized by Cor Unum and the Pontifical Commission for Latin America, in collaboration with the Haitian Bishops.
