Secretary of State for Tourism very active in the Bahamas

At the 19th Annual Caribbean International Business Conference which was held at the Bahamas last November 6 to 9, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12468-haiti-news-some-news-here-and-there.html Ms. Émilie Jessy Menos, the Secretary of State for Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC) made a presentation of the Haitian tourism sector, including on the progress made in this area over the past three years and the outlook for the coming years. Ms. Menos has also given two interviews one on Africa Channel on the reasons for which the organization of this conference in Haiti next year will be a success and another on arib News, with the Journal Editor Tony Best.

Hospitality training in île-à-Vache

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), had a preliminary meeting with Marina Gourgue, Secretary of State for Vocational Training and Daniel Denis, Director of Training at MTIC, in order to launch training workshops in hotels, tourism and languages in Ile-a-Vache. So far, 90 young people have already registered.

US students discover the North Destination

Past weekend, a group of young American students, visiting Santiago in the Dominican Republic took the opportunity to come discover in Haiti, North Destination. Welcomed at the Info-Tourism booth of MTIC on the Haitian-Dominican border, they visited the Citadelle Henry, the Sans Souci Palace and Labadee before returning delighted and eager to return to Haiti.
