Haiti - NOTICE : The decree convening the people to elections is postponed sine die
"The General Secretariat of the Presidency informs the public in general and the press in particular, that the decree convening the people to elections for Sunday, October 26, 2014, is postponed.
President Michel Martelly, still in its constant concern to ensure political stability, promises to continue consultations with the various sectors of national life to hold elections in the shortest possible time."
Note that the parties and groupings of the opposition, who argue that the decree convening the people to the elections, have not been postponed, will demonstrate this Sunday. Protesters intend to take the symbolic path of urns, provided with their identification card and a red card for "vote".
