Haiti present at the 18th edition fair ecotourism

A Haitian delegation led by Maryse Noel the Director General of the Ministry of Tourism, accompanied by some private sector organizations involved in the tourism participates from 18 to 26 October 2014 at the 18th edition of the Fair ecotourism and production in Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic, a city that has set a goal to convert into a model of "green city" and integral development. A stand devoted to Haiti, present at this international event, creations of Haitian crafts, gastronomy products and of national companies, which make the value of our country.

Strengthening of infrastructure of INFORHT

Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of the Minister had a meeting with the "Kellogg's Company" and Karine Conde, the Regional Director South for MTIC concerning a partnership for financing various projects in the South, such as building infrastructure at the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Training South (INFORHT) and other projects in the field of health and education.

Management of natural areas in Jacmel

As part of the management of natural areas of Jacmel, Maryse Noel, General Director of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries (MTIC), conducted in Jacmel, a working meeting with Dithny Joan Raton, the Director Southeast of MTIC Ferney Piou, Consultant at MTIC and Eugenia Arribas, trainee of the World Tourism Organization. The discussion points focused on improving the environment of beaches, education and environmental information, hygiene standards, safety of beaches and other services, the trengthening of institutional capacity through training programs was also discussed.
