According to the angry protesters, the President Martelly would have canceled this ceremony after having received information indicating that some members of the opposition, will manifest this Thursday 16 against his presence in Petit-Goâve.

"We demand the immediate inauguration of the Port of Petit Goâve, otherwise we will block everything and constantly occupy the streets until the arrival of President Martelly," indicated the protesters, who accuse local opposition to be responsible for the postponement of the inauguration.
