Haiti - Education : The Minister of MHAVE sponsors a school and want to mobilize the diaspora
Friday, François Guillaume II, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) is committed to helping the students of the National School Caroline Chauveau "I promise to sponsor this educational institution and I will mobilize funds from the diaspora to meet the needs of young girls," promising to begin with the establishment of a computer lab for schoolgirls.
The Minister made this statement after a session of school kit distribution where over 600 students from the Learning Centre of the National School Republic of Chile, received a kit containing among other : notebooks, pen, pencils, geometrical instruments, colored pencils and sharpener.
Ms Erna Lambert, Director of the Caroline Chauveau school applauded the gesture of the Minister who provided school kits to all the schoolgirls of the institution and said she hoped the support of Mr. Guillaume II, throughout the year.
