A Haitian delegation led by René Jean-Jumeau, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Energy Security is currently under finding mission to El Salvador for a week to inquire about the Salvadorean energy experience.

Among the topics on the agenda, the reform of the energy in the 70s in this country, energy policy of Salvador and the passage of the energy market offer to the market cost and its functioning. It will also be discussed how the Salvador integrated renewable energy in his system, and its Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).

During its stay, the delegation will visit include the National Energy Council, the Directorate General of Electricity and Telecommunications (SIGET) and power distribution companies.
