Haiti - Politic : President Martelly ready for dialogue with the G6, Moïse not

Lucien Jura, the Spokesman of the Presidency, confirmed that in response to a letter from Senator Simon Dieuseul Desras, asking the head of state to meet with six opposition senators, member of G6 [Jean-Baptiste Bien-Aimé (Northeast), Jean-Charles Moïse (North), Francky Exius (South), Westner Polycarpe (North), John Joël Joseph (West) and Jean William Jeanty (Nippes)], the President Martelly had accepted the proposal and invited the President of the Senate and members of the G6, to come talk to his office at the National Palace, as of 11:00 am this Monday, September 1.

A readiness for dialogue of the President Martelly, which already not pleases to the Senator Jean Charles Moïse, who has already announced he will not attend this meeting with the Head of State. For the Senator, making the hype, it is necessary that the 6 opposition parties [Fanmi lavalas, Fusion, Inite, Kontra pèp la, Ayisyen pou Ayiti and MOPOD] who refused to participate in the El Rancho dialogue or who have left the negotiating table, are present at this meeting...

Knowing that President Martelly does not intend call into question the elections this year and that the G6, for over 6 months stands his ground without making any concessions, we do not see very well out of the ratification of amendments to the electoral law [that the G6 refuses to vote], what could be the agenda of this meeting, the outcome so far, leaves little glimpse of hope of an out of the crisis...
