Haiti - NOTICE : Repair work on the Electrical 69 kV Transmission Line
The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) inform the general public and its customers in particular that a cut is scheduled for this Sunday, August 17, 2014, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Downtown Port au-Prince and the communes of Pétionville, Kenscoff, Carrefour, Gressier and Léogâne, to name a few.
Indeed, following a serious breakdown on the transmission line 69 Kv, urgent and specific interventions of teams of the EDH are essential in order to preserve the lives and property of residents who are powered by this line.
The Electricity of Haiti relies on the cooperation and understanding of the people so that these works can be done under the best conditions and on time.
EDH said to renew to the Haitian population its determination to work for a better electrical service, and to keed it informed.
