The new Mayor Nyrvah Bruno, since his arrival, has continued to increase tax revenues of the municipality, through a policy of smart tax revenues combined with a public awareness campaign to taxpayers. Of over 56 million gourdes in May 2014, the city of Croix-des-Bouquets in July 2014, exceeded 61 million in revenue, paid to the tax authorities by taxpayers.
