Agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), under the supervision of the Vice Attorney Justino Cuevas Santana, carried out an operation in collaboration with soldiers of CESFRONT (Cuerpo de Seguridad Fronteriza Especializado), of the Intelligence Division of the Ministry of Defence (J-2) and representatives of the Directorate General of Customs (DGA).

This operation led following informations of Dominican intelligence service, resulted in the interception at the checkpoint of Customs of Jimani, of a GMC truck, registered #ZA13671, who tried to introduce to the Dominican Republic a large quantity of drug contained in 28 packets.

The driver of Haitian origin has been arrested, a certain amount of money, three cell phones and 73 rolls of electric cables were also seized.
