Haiti - Diplomacy : Greeting to the American people by the Prime Minister Lamothe
Friday, July 4, the 238th anniversary of American independence, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe sent greetings to the American people, to their representatives and in particular to President Barack Obama.
"On the occasion of 238th anniversary of American Independence, Prime Minister sends his best wishes for happiness, progress to the American people and its warm and sincere congratulations to his illustrious representatives, in particular President Barack Obama, with whom this country is entered, a little more in the history of the world.
The head of government also take advantage of this great day, july 4, which has rehabilitated freedom as transcendental value of humanity, to thank the U.S. authorities for their support and actions in favor of democracy and sustainable development in Haiti.
While hoping that these two peoples, who have marked the history of America by being the first on the continent to gain independence, continue to walk hand in hand, Prime Minister Lamothe reiterates the commitment of the Administration of President Martelly and his government to pursue, together with the U.S. government, the strategic partnerships that will enable both countries to defend the common universal values."
