Haiti - Diaspora : Minister Guillaume II met Ambassador of Mexico

François Guillaume II, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) met this week the Mexican Ambassador in Haiti, José Luìs Alvaro Gonzalez to discuss the accompaniment of Mexico, to the vast project of identification of the Haitian diaspora, initiated by the MHAVE.

According to the Ambassador, Mexico intends to train executives of partner institutions on the organization of Haitian communities outside, recalling that Mexico and Haiti facing the same problems and the same challenges in the use of resources of the diaspora.

Jose Luìs Alvaro Gonzalez took the opportunity to explain to the Minister Guillaume II, the development processes established by the Mexican government, together with its diaspora, as part of its "Tres por Uno" project.

Recall that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior and Justice, through the Haiti National Archives and the National Identification Office, are stakeholders in this project of Identification of the Diaspora.
