Haiti - Social : Funeral of Reverend Father René Longor

The funeral of the Reverend Father René Longor were sung Friday, September 3, 2010, at the Church Immaculée Conception des Orangés. Religious authorities, civil, political, and close relatives of the priest took part in this ceremony, a final tribute of the deceased, who died last Tuesday, August 24 following a traffic accident in Blocausse, commune of Bainet, Department of Sud'Est .

Monsignor Théodule Domond, one of the celebrants in his homily for the occasion praised the courage of the deceased for her determination and dynamism in the exercise of its function.

For his part, Bishop Guy Poulard, the bishop of the South in his statements at the ceremony, presented the Father René Longor, as one of the models among the priests of various dioceses of the department. "I had the chance to work with him is a loss for the community, including the Catholic church" he added.

Recall that the Reverend Father René Longor was born June 18, 1974, he died at the age of 36 following a traffic accident in Blocausse, commune of Bainet after being transported to the hospital Saint Michel de Jacmel , where he passed away. Father Rene Longor is one of 11 young priests who were ordained December 4, 2005 at the Cathedral Saint Jacques et Philippe de Jacmel.

The death of Rene priest plunged his family into consternation.
