Haiti - FLASH : New CEP, President Martelly publishes the names

This Tuesday, May 6, within the framework of deadlines of ten days granted to the parties by agreement El Rancho to eventually appoint a new representative to the Electoral Council responsible for organizing the next elections, and its willingness to accelerate the process leading to the organization of elections no later than 26 October 2014, the President Michel Martelly, in accordance with Articles 7 and 8 of the Agreement, by Order dated May 6, 2014, proceeded to the creation of the Provisional Electoral Council and the appointment of its members.

Composition of the Provisional Electoral Council :

For the Legislative Power :

1.- Marie Clunie Dumay Miracles (unchanged)

2.- Pierre Simon Georges (unchanged)

3.- Néhémy Joseph (unchanged)

For the Superior Council of the Judiciary :

4.- Applys Félix (unchanged)

5.- Marie Carole Innocent Floreal Duclervil (unchanged)

6.- Léopold Berlanger (unchanged)

For the Executive Power :

7.- Gloria Margarette Girault Saint-Louis (unchanged)

8.- Jacqueline Patricia Chantale Raymond (unchanged)

Note that Jean Marie Vianney Emmanuel Ménard, former President challenged of the Transitional College of the Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) [representative of the Executive], is no longer in the Electoral Council. Note that the Executive Power is represented by 2 women and 1 man.
